Outdoor Training Room.
This was a vast open space built around the Wizard Tower, intended for Ian to privately practice certain wizardry and test special effects.
Ian left the Meditation Room.
He walked here.
As he walked, his back occasionally jolted up and down. Though the Wind Wings had fused well, an extra thing had appeared on his body after all, so discomfort was only natural.
"I'll get used to it after a while."
Ian murmured.
But he was here to test it.
"Let's see what this almost externally implanted extraordinary organ can do."
Ian closed his eyes.
Small wind vortices gradually formed around him, and a pair of pale cyan wings slowly took shape behind his back.
Each wing was nearly four meters long. Their feathers bore cyan patterns, yet they were not tangible, but flowing wind.
He flapped them.
With a thought from Ian.
The next second, one wing flapped, while the other failed to keep up due to this being his first attempt.
Normally.
There would not have been much difference.
But the speed of that single wing was simply too fast. With the two wings flapping one after the other, Ian did not move forward at all, instead spinning like a top.
Like a miniature tornado.
The rocks swept up around him were crushed into countless particles of dust by those wind feathers.
Several seconds later.
Ian finally stopped.
Fortunately, this was a private Training Ground. Otherwise, that would have been rather embarrassing.
With that lesson learned.
Ian slowly poured magic power into his wings, activating them gradually. An invisible force of wind gently lifted him into the air.
At first, he still needed to supply a certain amount of magic power, but afterward, the surrounding wind elements alone seemed enough to sustain it.
"So theoretically,
