Meanwhile.
White Stone Vein!
Scarlet Fortress.
This was one of the core nodes of the Elemental Mysteries in the southern region, a fortress built around a vast mineral vein.
At this moment, Abraham stood atop the outer walls of the fortress. Looking ahead, he could not help but frown.
Sunlight spilled across the land before him.
Yet because of the Elemental Mist, this entire region was forever shrouded in a gloomy gray haze.
As a fire elemental wizard, he felt instinctively uncomfortable.
"You'll get used to it. This is what it's like beneath the Elemental Mist. They say it gets denser the deeper you go, and ever since development began, the mist's range has been expanding."
Adam walked over from the side and shrugged helplessly.
As core members from the same batch, they had grown rather familiar after advancing to the Second Ring. They were currently stationed in this region together.
"It's the suppression of magical power, along with the environmental pressure, that feels the worst."
Abraham shook his body, flames sweeping over him as if he were trying to burn away that discomfort.
But he knew that was impossible.
Everything within the Elemental Mist region was like this. It could only make him feel better for a short while.
At least thirty percent of his strength had been suppressed.
Not to mention First Ring Wizards, whose suppression could reach forty or even fifty percent. For Zero Ring Wizards, it would only be worse.
"What's that?"
Abraham suddenly turned his head, and Adam followed his gaze.
Inside the fortress, alchemists were installing a device resembling an iron box at the heart of the camp.
And there was more than one.
As far as the eye could see.
At least three or four were seemingly being installed at the same time.
