Storm Eye.
The storm made the world before him seem like the end of days. The several-dozen-meter-tall Wind Elemental Envoy stared at Ian.
A fierce aura belonging to a transcendent creature radiated from it.
It intended to deal with this fellow who had dared trespass into its territory.
Yet Ian merely looked calmly at the colossal creature.
The hem of his Witch Robe swayed with the storm. Staff in hand, Ian looked like a primitive man challenging a giant.
"I'm not the one who should be afraid."
Ian grinned at the Magic Beast before him.
Roar!
Though it could not understand Ian's words, that near-provocative expression thoroughly enraged the Magic Beast.
It extended its right hand.
The storm filling the sky seemed to transform into a tangible giant hammer, carrying overwhelming force as it sought to crush Ian directly.
And faced with this terrifying strike—
Ian moved.
His eyes flickered, and an invisible force rippled outward.
Like a gentle breeze.
But when that breeze spread into the surroundings, the storm seemed to tremble for it.
The violent storm hammer was stripped away as though countless blades were continuously shaving it down, layer after layer dissipating into the air.
In the blink of an eye.
The attack that was about to tear Ian apart vanished into thin air.
Shock flashed through the Wind Elemental Envoy's eyes.
Though that had only been a casual strike, the Wizard before it was merely a little stronger than an ordinary Wind Elemental Sprite, nowhere near its level. How had its attack been dissolved?
No!
Its storm hammer had seemed to be directly... dismantled?
Its limited intelligence supplied the word.
But what horrified it even more was that, after dismantling the storm hammer, that strange fluctuation continued spreading toward it.
In the blink of an eye.
