Only that these five had been jointly selected by Aaron and Simon, and all of them were among the Academy's foremost figures.

Kieran, Dean of the Four Symbols Academy; Ronan, Vice Commander of the Flameheart Warband; Damian, Commander of Storm Spear; Stefan, Vice Commander of the Stonewall Warband; and Huo Yan, Dean of the Molten Fire Academy.

Ian slowly read out their names and could not help sighing. "Other than Teacher, Dean Huo Yan, and the commander of Storm Spear, the other two are both vice-commander-level figures?"

But there is an order to it: First Vice Commander and Second Vice Commander. First Vice Commanders are basically all Peak Second Ring figures. Even the second is generally at the peak. Only when there is no suitable candidate will it be a Late Second Ring wizard. That was what I had wanted to compete for before, but unfortunately, I didn't get it." So that was how it was.
