Ian strode into the Potions Department.

He instantly sensed that something had changed.

The Wizards walking about all wore grave expressions, and their steps were hurried.

By the time Ian entered the meeting room, Vivian and Doug were seated on opposite sides of the large table at the front.

When they saw Ian enter, Vivian still had her brows tightly furrowed, while Doug shot him a cold, sinister glance.

He looked toward the center of the table.

Ian drew a deep breath, as if he too could feel that intangible pressure.

Victor, Hal, and the others had all arrived by then, and Ian silently took a seat in the third row.

No one around him had any objections.

They even nodded at him.
