Frieza's expression darkened, but he remained in a fighting stance.
"Nothing. I just suddenly felt that destroying you outright would be rather boring. Let's do as you suggested before—I'll arrange a battle for you. Or rather, an execution."
Lu Li withdrew his hand. "I'll have Vegeta kill you."
Frieza first sighed in relief, then his expression turned mocking. "Vegeta? Trash like him thinks he deserves to execute me? Don't tell me you plan to cripple me first, then make me fight Vegeta?"
Lu Li cast Frieza a cold glance, making him shudder for no reason. He said casually, "You don't need to think about that now. Once you die at Vegeta's hands, you can take your time thinking about it in Hell."
With that, he vanished from the spot, leaving only a voice in the air. "Tomorrow at three in the afternoon. Planet Konylon, at the edge of the frontier."
When Lu Li gave the time, he used a universal language and a standard cosmic time scale—roughly eighteen Earth hours from now.
Vegeta was cultivating in subspace anyway. If he wanted to, he could cultivate there for nearly a year.
However, the proud Saiyan prince had long been itching to fight Frieza. He had said he would train for another month, and he would not exceed that time.
After arranging this matter, Lu Li returned to Earth. Rather than checking on Vegeta, who now had a new goal to surpass and a short-term target for his killing intent, he went to see Gohan.
Inside a university classroom, Lu Li sat in the last row and watched Gohan, dressed like a scholar, lecture his students on biological inheritance.
Gohan was not wearing glasses today. His striking blond hair made him look as though he had just dyed
