Lu Li rescued Nel’s companions, survived Baraggan’s assault with Aizen’s help, and stayed in Hueco Mundo to build power and recruit allies. He led the Hollows in overthrowing Baraggan, then began establishing a laboratory and rebuilding Hueco Mundo.

• Lu Li joined Nel and Ulquiorra to rescue Dondochakka, fought Marrow’s forces, and killed Marrow before confronting Baraggan.
• Soul Singer attacked Lu Li for his Spirit Seeds, but Aizen arrived, drove off Soul Singer, and subdued Baraggan.
• Lu Li agreed to help Aizen research Hollow evolution and build a research institute in Hueco Mundo, while refusing to use Rukongai residents as test subjects.
• Lu Li’s attempt to communicate with Prison Demon nearly destroyed his soul, and he later decided to rule Hueco Mundo and recruit rational Hollows.
• Ulquiorra led Lu Li to Coyote Starrk, who joined the group, and Lu Li spent a month recruiting powerful Hollows including Halibel.

Lu Li returned to Soul Society, strengthened his ties with Aizen and Yoruichi, and gained the ability to Hollowify through Aizen’s experiments. As the Quincy invasion began, the Gotei 13 discovered that the enemy could steal Bankai.

• Yoruichi brought Lu Li back to Soul Society, where he cleared the Stealth Force’s investigation and fought Yamamoto in a combat examination, and Yamamoto appointed him a supervised Fourth Seat in the First Division.
• Lu Li learned about Urahara’s Hōgyoku research and worked with Yoruichi to study each other’s techniques, while Unohana treated his injuries and taught him advanced Healing Kidō.
• Aizen revealed his research into Hollowification and his opposition to Soul Society’s unjust system, then collaborated with Urahara as he completed the Hōgyoku and transformed Szayelaporro and other Hollows into Arrancar.
• Aizen tested Hollowification on Lu Li, whose soul consumed the injected Hollow powers, and Lu Li later gained an artificial Vasto Lorde’s power and briefly achieved Hollowification.
• Aizen proposed drawing the Shinigami and Quincy conflict into Hueco Mundo, but Tōsen reported that Soul Society was already under attack, and Soul Singer led the Quincy assault through the Senkaimon.
• Blood Rain used the Fairy-Tale Dragon’s Foam to seal Yamamoto, while Kyōraku, Ukitake, and the other Captains joined the battle across the Seireitei.
• Fiss Schneider stole Kensei Muguruma’s Bankai with a metal disc, prompting Kensei to warn the Captains not to use Bankai.

Lu Li helped defeat Soul Singer and the Quincy invasion, then became the Eleventh Division Captain and began rebuilding his division. As he pursued Soul King fragments, he found Kenpachi Zaraki and challenged him to join the division.

• Wagner killed Rōjūrō Ōtoribashi, but Kenpachi Azashiro destabilized Wagner’s Spirit Particles and destroyed him, while Aizen prepared to return to Soul Society.
• Lu Li returned to the Seireitei, killed Heinrich Hoffmann, and joined Kyōraku Shunsui and Unohana in fighting Soul Singer as Aizen summoned Stark, Halibel, Nel, Ulquiorra, and Szayelaporro.
• Soul Singer moved the battle to Hueco Mundo, where Kenpachi Azashiro began destroying the realm and Lu Li fought Soul Singer’s Vollständig and memory-based attacks.
• Lu Li’s memories of Lu Gui and Senior Apprentice-Sister surfaced, and he awakened Bankai—Demon Advent before killing Soul Singer with his final attack.

Lu Li survived Central 46’s trial, killed Kukisha, and helped stop the Hell Gate crisis. After returning to End Space, he advanced as a Pioneer, awakened a new talent, and strengthened himself with new rewards.

• Lu Li and Aizen discussed the Wandenreich and the Soul King, then Aizen completed two Mythical-grade Hōgyoku using the Soul King’s organs.
• Lu Li trained Kenpachi Zaraki and sparred with Unohana in Muken until Yamamoto stopped their dangerous duel.
• Blood Rain warned Lu Li that Kukisha could extract concepts, and Lu Li returned to Soul Society to face Central 46’s charges.
• Lu Li revealed that he ruled Hueco Mundo and proposed diplomatic ties, but Kukisha used the crisis to trigger a death plague and open the Hell Gate.
• Lu Li pursued Kukisha while the Gotei 13 and its allies fought the spirits emerging from Hell, then resisted Kukisha’s stolen powers and killed him.
