Lu Li set plans in motion to secure Vegapunk’s technology, sending a small force to Egghead while assigning others to train or pursue leads on Pluton. As Lu Li and his companions breached Egghead’s defenses, Gofia tried to kill Vegapunk after obtaining the newly developed flame, but Vegapunk escaped through a hidden floor hatch.

• Lu Li chose Mihawk and Yamato to accompany him to Egghead and sent Crocodile and Robin to Alabasta to investigate whether the royal family’s bloodline could activate Pluton.
