Lu Li had Melk II forge Shrimp Meat a Growth Chef's Knife using Dragon King materials, then learned from First Melk that the Dragon King had been killed by A'Huo. After the knife was completed, Lu Li and Shrimp Meat set out for Century Soup and arrived at Ice Hell, where a winged person confronted them.

• Lu Li asked Melk II to forge Shrimp Meat a chef's knife with the Dragon King's heart and fangs, and she agreed despite her doubts.
• Lu Li visited First Melk, who reassured him that Melk II could handle the forging and said he was still making Ichiryu's knife.

Lu Li confronted the Jet-Black Demon God within his consciousness, defeated its Black Lu Li replica, and negotiated a way to use its power through a new Gourmet Demon. He returned to reality with a tiny black figure as its medium and told Aizen that he had solved the problem.

• Lu Li realized the Jet-Black Demon God had used the Black Gourmet Demon to create a replica of him, but his rapid growth during the fight let him defeat it.
