My words came true. A little after seven, I was jolted awake by the urge to fart. I got up and found there was no hot water, so I drank a cup of water that had been sitting overnight. Before I could even lie back down, the urge to poop hit me. Following the principle that you can't trust any fart when you have diarrhea, I rushed into the bathroom and squatted down.

After half a day of it, I was practically drained dry.
The doctor saw that I was listless and asked whether I felt nauseous or dizzy. I said a little, probably because I hadn't slept enough, so he sent me off for an IV drip... Just kidding.

Sure enough, something I ate yesterday must have upset my stomach. The IV had saline and something else too—I didn't recognize it.
At first, I didn't think it was that serious. After all, who goes to the hospital just because of diarrhea? And at first, I thought it was Lactose Intolerance. Anyone who works out knows that some Asians get diarrhea from protein powder.
But the more I thought about it, the more it felt wrong. I'd never had diarrhea from it before, had I?
I'd been drinking it for almost a month this time too. How could I only start having diarrhea now? That was why I went to the hospital.
Luckily, I heard my condition counted as a relatively serious case.
So I'm staying at the hospital today. That was my own request.
Living alone, it would be troublesome if something happened. It's not like I can't afford it.
Don't let my tall, burly build fool you—I'm actually pretty scared of dying. [Seriously]
Illness isn't something you can fight with your fists. You need to
