After discussing the Tang Sect's future sources of income, Zhao Xuan and Tang San turned their attention to other matters.
The documents Hermione had brought were piled thickly together. They were no thinner than some books, and a rough estimate put their number at no fewer than a hundred and fifty pages.
Tang San's heart stirred slightly, and he sincerely thanked Hermione. "You've really worked hard, Hermione."
Hermione shook her head, lifted the loose golden strands beside her ear, and smiled brightly. "It's nothing. I'm the Tang Sect's deputy sect master now. These are all part of my duties."
"It'd be great if Xiao Wu were as diligent as you."
Tang San smiled and shook his head, speaking with helpless affection. Hermione had been busy in the Tang Sect these past few days, while Xiao Wu had been following Ning Rongrong around the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, having fun. She truly did not seem like a sect master's wife... a future sect master's wife.
"It's just a difference in personality. Isn't Xiao Wu a rabbit? How can a rabbit stay still? Being lively is her nature." Hermione covered her mouth and laughed, her eyes curving with amusement.
Zhao Xuan smiled and nodded from the side. Then, he casually pulled out a sheet from the documents on the nearby table. One look at the title showed that it was a statistical report on the strength of those young soul masters.
"Four Soul Ancestors, five hundred and fifty-eight Soul Elders. The youngest is twenty, and the oldest is twenty-six."
"Whoa, your records are pretty detailed. You even noted their genders, ages, home addresses, and life histories."
