In one of the city's palaces, an elderly man in cultivation suddenly opened his eyes. He looked toward the outside of the city in confusion, slowly placing a hand as withered as tree bark over his chest.

"Why are you here? It isn't your shift yet." Old Woman asked with a frown.
Thousand Eyes Douluo paid no mind to Old Woman's attitude and merely asked, "Has Heaven Dou made any moves recently?"
"No. Why?" Old Woman's gaze sharpened.
"Nothing. Just a bad feeling."
Thousand Eyes Douluo muttered, though his tightly furrowed brows did not relax in the slightest.
