Ma Hongjun Gets Beaten Up

As evening drew near and the sun sank in the west, Zhao Xuan finally came down from his excitement. Looking around at the forest he had utterly wrecked, he felt a little embarrassed.

"That was a bit excessive."

He furtively glanced around. Seeing that no one had noticed, Zhao Xuan hurriedly slipped away.

When he returned to the dormitory, he happened to run into Tang San and Oscar, who had finished cultivating and were heading to the cafeteria. The three of them went together, intending to have dinner first.

Summer nights were always the liveliest. On the way to the cafeteria, cicadas chirped and frogs croaked without end, their calls like notes woven together into a romantic midsummer nocturne.

The three chatted and laughed along the way, enjoying the peaceful summer evening.

Not long after leaving the dormitory, Zhao Xuan sensed someone approaching them. The aura felt familiar.

"Fatty, want to go to the cafeteria with us... Holy shit, what a huge pig head?!"

That familiar aura belonged to Ma Hongjun. Zhao Xuan had barely greeted him before Fatty came closer, allowing everyone to see the state he was in. Zhao Xuan could not help crying out in shock.

Tang San and Oscar were startled as well. They both paled and asked, "Fatty, did you get beaten up?"

Ma Hongjun was in terrible shape. His face had swollen to nearly twice its size, covered in bruises, and his eyes had been squeezed into narrow slits.

The moment he saw the three of them, he was overjoyed. He lunged forward and threw himself at Zhao Xuan and Tang San's feet, wrapping one arm around each of their legs. Then he looked up at them with tearful eyes. "Bosses, you have to stand up for me!"
