Background / History

Bibi Dong was Spirit Hall’s Saintess and Qian Xunji’s disciple when she became romantically involved with Yu Xiaogang. To prevent her from leaving, Qian Xunji sexually assaulted her and forced her to bear his daughter, Qian Renxue. You Chen later reveals these circumstances to his old friends, distinguishing the underlying events from the distorted rumors he had circulated 120 173.

After Qian Xunji suffered severe injuries, Bibi Dong killed him herself. Spirit Hall publicly attributed his death to Tang Hao, concealing her involvement. The killing also opened her path to the Rakshasa divine trials 173.

Her interference with You Chen began before she became Pope.
