From February 26, 2024, to June 8, 2026—833 days and 5.58 million words. It felt so long. This book was originally planned to be 3.5 million words. The extra two million were basically side plots and slice-of-life chapters. As I wrote, I gradually explored and experimented, trying to use those plots to create fuller, more vivid characters.
I hope that among them, even just one or two left a deep impression on you.
I also hope that, long from now, when you happen to think of this book, you'll still remember a certain character, a certain scene, or a moment that made you smile knowingly.
For me, that would already be more than worthwhile.

Some readers may feel that the final chapter was a little strange. That is because the fourth dream took up such a large portion of the story that it was easier for everyone to immerse themselves in it and mistake the events in the dream for reality.
