As evening approached, the fiery sunset set the sky ablaze, and the streets of Sigishirava gradually fell silent.

This had never been a bustling city. Its appeal as a tourist destination lay in its preserved medieval style. The people here had always kept the routine of rising at dawn and resting at sunset, and with the sensational news of bizarre serial murders spreading lately, no one dared go out after dark.

On an empty street, Mordred sat on a bench by the roadside, holding a paper bag and continuously stuffing its contents into her mouth.

They were handmade snacks she had taken from Shirou. She had taken half a day's worth for herself, then nearly finished them within half an hour.

Granted, eating was Artoria's family's traditional hobby, but Mordred's current way of eating looked more like she was venting her frustration.

"Mm, it's been over fourteen hundred years," Kaijiri Shishigami said. "If you wanted sightseeing, this wasn't the place. The whole point here is the preserved scenery of medieval streets."

Kaijiri Shishigami explained it to Mordred, only to find that the bag in her hands was already empty.
