At the edge of the Underworld, Hermes emerged at an unhurried pace, holding the Caduceus of Mercury.
The Caduceus of Mercury was his Super Divine Artifact. It had originally been an ordinary divine artifact, but his divine position encompassed many authorities, one of which was theft.
Hermes had once stolen many divine artifacts from various planes, such as Poseidon's trident, Helios's Sun Chariot, Hades's Invisibility Helmet, Freyr's Sword of Victory, and more. Among them had even been a genuine Super Divine Artifact. He had entrusted those divine artifacts to the God of Craftsmen he trusted, who ultimately forged this Super Divine Artifact with its many abilities.
Unlike most Super Divine Artifacts, which were used directly in battle, the Caduceus of Mercury possessed mostly supportive functions and few abilities meant for direct combat.
