Unlike before, this year's admissions process had undergone some changes. The final three-panel review had been abolished and replaced by departmental divisions. Based on their abilities and differing developmental paths, each student would be admitted into a different department.

The outer court was now entirely under his management, while the inner court was jointly managed by the Sea God Pavilion elders of past generations and the current Sea God Pavilion. A series of entrance tests was also underway there, though conducted more discreetly.

The inner court's school reforms were not in any hurry. The various schools were still recruiting inner court instructors. Only three years later, when that batch of students began entering the inner court, would the major schools officially be established and begin managing matters.
