Hoshiryu reshaped Soul Society, brought Hinamori Momo back, and drew Ichigo’s family and allies into the coming conflict with Aizen. As Ichigo trained with the Visoreds, his Hollow transformation overwhelmed them, leaving his power and control uncertain.

• Aizen abducted Hinamori Momo, while Hoshiryu settled at the Shiba estate and defeated Retsu Unohana in battle before healing her and earning her devotion.
• Yamamoto confronted Hoshiryu over noble violence, then purged the noble class after the Honda Family threatened him and Hoshiryu rejected half measures.
• Hoshiryu rescued Hinamori Momo from Aizen and returned her to Toshiro, while Aizen recovered and entrusted the complete Hogyoku to Kaname Tōsen.
• Hoshiryu helped Kenpachi awaken his former power, and Yamamoto led the Gotei 13 in overthrowing the nobles as Ichigo and his companions prepared to return to the Living World.
• Ichigo brought Hoshiryu, Retsu Unohana, and Kukaku home, where Kukaku confronted Isshin and Ichigo learned that his father had lost his powers while saving Masaki.
• Hoshiryu warned Isshin and Kisuke that Aizen possessed the complete Hogyoku, and Kisuke agreed to train Ichigo to control his inner Hollow.
• Hoshiryu and Yachiru Unohana fought on the moon before reconciling, while Yamamoto moved against the nobles and Kisuke’s group continued Ichigo’s Hollow training.
• White Hollow defeated Ichigo in their inner struggle, and Ichigo’s transformation overwhelmed the Visoreds, badly injuring Hiyori and Lisa before Kisuke acknowledged that it had surpassed his expectations.

As Aizen’s plans pushed the realms toward collapse, Hoshiryu and Kisuke Urahara maneuvered to replace Yamamoto and contain the crisis. Hoshiryu defeated Aizen, took control, and began merging the Naruto World with the Soul Reaper World.

• Bullhead Ichigo defeated White Hollow after Orihime called to him, then embraced her before nearly collapsing.
• Hoshiryu explained the coming competition with Aizen and asked Ichigo to supervise him, while Ichigo agreed to take responsibility.
• Ulquiorra and Yammy confronted Hoshiryu, who defeated Yammy and learned Aizen had sent them to eliminate Ichigo.
• Bullhead Ichigo fought Aizen, whose escape to Hueco Mundo left Ichigo to be found and healed by Orihime.
• Aizen activated the Hogyoku as Menos invaded Soul Society, while Mayuri warned that a mysterious force threatened the balance of the three realms.
• Urahara gathered the captains and demanded that they replace Yamamoto with him, then passed Hoshiryu’s trial and was made Captain-Commander.
• Hoshiryu announced his takeover as Aizen’s power shook the realms, then reversed the damage, erased Aizen, and began merging the worlds.
