By the way, I'll answer something quite a few people have asked: how many chapters until the Great Birthday Celebration.

I haven't written a chapter outline, only listed the story beats I need to cover, so I can't say for sure how many chapters are left.

Before the Great Birthday Celebration, the remaining major battles are as follows:

The Fallen Count's potion ingredient, Hraf;

The Iron Ring;

Intercepting Aureus, which fell to Fallen Horus and was destroyed;

Taking part in the Defense of Ciliorete with Sanguinius and the Order of the Omen, fighting the Aeldari wizard Titan;

The Jingyuan Federation fought by the Wolves;

The Aivene of the Ark Fringe Cluster, fought by the Thousand Sons, Wolves, and Word Bearers;

Fighting Murder alongside Horus and Sanguinius, and exterminating the Giant Spider Beast xenos;

Fighting at Gate 42 together with Corax under the command of Warmaster Horus.

These eight battle arcs won't be too long.
