Replying to a few comments:
1. Before surgery: what kind of surgery is suitable, the price, and so on depend on your own degree of myopia, whether you have astigmatism, etc.
2. During surgery: the operation was very quick; the wait was longer. Two ladies were ahead of me. The first had small eyes, and it felt like she took the time of two people.
I felt it was easier than I'd imagined.
However, the back of my eye wasn't in great condition, so before the surgery, I had laser repair done.
3. After surgery: recovery has been fairly smooth. Things far away are clear, and things up close went from blurry to clear.
Both eyes were slightly swollen.
There were blood vessels showing in my left eye, but they've almost disappeared now.
4. Updates: I had a follow-up today. The doctor said the surgery went smoothly and didn't say I was forbidden from using my eyes, but did say I should pay attention to rest.
After I pressed him, he told me to use them for twenty minutes, then rest for ten.
I'm resting a little longer than that, and I feel recovery has been fairly smooth.
