Chapter Summaries

Primarch Dorn slaughtered Arasaka’s forces, killed Adam Smasher, and prepared to destroy Arasaka Tower. A flash of familiar Psychic Power drew his attention toward the Frontline Base, where he suspected another brother had arrived.

• Dorn survived concentrated fire at Arasaka Tower and drove the NCPD officers away while cutting through Arasaka’s security forces.
• David and Gloria watched the live broadcast and wondered whether Dorn could defeat Adam Smasher.
• Dorn taunted Adam Smasher, caught him during his attack, and hurled him through Arasaka Tower’s logo, killing him.
• Dorn asked Celine to keep broadcasting as he prepared to tear down Arasaka Tower.
• Dorn sensed familiar Psychic Power in a golden light streaking toward the Frontline Base and ordered the Royal Capital Knights to clear the tower while he investigated.

Dorn found and rescued his newborn younger brother near Night City, while Sui Yang learned of the birth and ordered Dorn to bring the child to the Core Base. Sui Yang then prepared a two-front campaign to destabilize the Covenant and pressure human factions, before heading to check on a new Wise AI and two Bio-Organic Weapons.

• Dorn located his newborn younger brother in a shallow pit, wrapped him in his cape, and sent Sui Yang footage of the rescue.
• Sui Yang read Dorn’s message and recognized the child’s resemblance to Perturabo, then ordered Dorn to bring him to the Core Base and take responsibility for unifying Earth 09.
• Sui Yang reviewed the Covenant’s position and planned a two-front campaign to intensify its great schism while the Investigation Department launched propaganda and physical operations against human factions.

Meanwhile, Dorn brought the infant Perturabo to Bountiful Star, where Aoyi unexpectedly soothed him, and then set off for the Core Base with her.

• Sui Yang inspected Atlas’s assembled forces and visited the Biological Experiment Center, where Halsey and Alexia finished calibrating Cortana and reported that two Bio-Organic Weapons were nearly ready.

Dorn and Aoyi traveled through the Space Gates to the Core World, where Tinas took charge of Perturabo and discussed handing Lothrian affairs to Aoyi. Dorn reunited with Sui Yang, who revealed that he planned to establish an improved Imperial System to unify humanity and resist the Warp.

Athena and the Greek Demigods joined the Gray Adjudicators at the Reach base, where Ada and Major Breya discussed their mission against corruption within the UNSC and UEG. Ada sent Leon, Chris, Mike, Maggie, and other personnel to Earth-08 to purge corrupt officials, leaving them en route from Reach.

• Twenty-four Greek Demigods and Pallas Athena arrived at the Reach base and were assigned a rest area, with their weapons stored by logistics.
• Cortana reported that Soldier Boy and Homelander had been prepared for infiltration work, the company website was ready, and valid identities had been forged for operational personnel.
• Ada ordered Leon, Chris, Maggie, and others to travel to Earth-08 and purge corrupt generals and senior officials, prioritizing their survival.
• Major Breya told Ada that the Adjudicators had been sent to eliminate supernatural threats, especially corrupt figures within the UNSC and UEG.

Leon, Mike, and Maggie boarded the Neptune for a voyage from Reach to Earth, but Marines seized the passengers after the ship was pulled out of Slipspace. The chapter left them held at gunpoint in an unknown star system, with Leon suspecting the Rebel Army was involved.

• Leon, Mike, and Maggie boarded the Neptune using forged IDs and tickets, while their colleagues traveled separately to avoid exposure.
• The Neptune departed Reach and entered Slipspace for its scheduled journey to Earth.

Leon, Mike, and Maggie were taken to Eridana C, where Leon and Mike decided to seize the opportunity to dismantle Free Liberation and establish Atlas's presence.

• Lato Frank helped Free Liberation seize the Neptune, shot the captain, and announced that the passengers were hostages bound for Eridana C.
• Leon, Mike, and Maggie recognized the hijackers as members of Free Liberation, and Leon proposed claiming the Eridana System for Atlas.

Sui Yang arrived at High Charity and used his Psychic Power to strengthen the Elites’ loyalty while preparing Atlas to intervene in the Eridana System. The AI Council offered to cooperate with Atlas, and the chapter ended as Sui Yang’s power swept across High Charity’s hundreds of millions of residents.

• Sui Yang toured damaged High Charity with the Primarchs and Thunder Warriors while Astartes and local crews fought fires and hunted Brute holdouts.
• After Apu reported that Leon, Mike, and Maggie’s mission had gone awry, Sui Yang ordered Atlas forces to attack Free Liberation’s fleet and find its hidden NOVA Bomb.
• Apu told Sui Yang that the AI Council had discovered Atlas’s independence and offered to help locate the bomb rather than alert the UNSC.

Sui Yang exposed and killed the Elite councilors plotting to assassinate him, while Atlas moved to secure their forces and negotiate closer human–Sangheili cooperation. On Eridana c, Maggie Shaw fought off rebel reinforcements as the company Fleet arrived in orbit to rescue the hostages.

• Sui Yang revealed that the burned Elite councilors had planned an attack, and Xyander led the surviving councilors toward talks about the war and an alliance with humanity.
• Atlas disabled nearly a hundred CCS-class Battlecruisers and prepared plans for military cooperation and development on Sanghelios.
• Free Liberation sent reinforcements to the base on Eridana c, but Maggie Shaw withstood their gunfire and overwhelmed the rebel troops.

The Atlas Fleet crippled the Free Liberation Fleet and launched a boarding assault on its cruiser to seize the NOVA Bomb. Atlas forces pushed through the ship with little resistance and reached the hangar, where the bomb was stored.

• The Atlas Fleet emerged above Eridana c, and Melissa disabled the Free Liberation Fleet’s systems while the Sojourner-class Dreadnought destroyed its ships’ main engines with a Beam Matrix.
• The Free Liberation Fleet’s counterattack failed, and Melissa ordered it to surrender before nearly a hundred Atlas transports approached.
• Thunder I Assault Craft breached the cruiser, and its captain ordered his troops to secure the NOVA Bomb and help the carrier squadron escape with it.
• ODSTs and an Assault Tyrant stormed the cruiser, shot the mess hall workers in the legs, and advanced toward the bomb using Melissa’s ship layout.
• The boarding forces pushed through the Rebel Army personnel and reached the hangar, ready to seize the NOVA Bomb.

Maggie Shaw, Mike, and Leon secured the recruit training camp on Eridana c as Atlas defeated Free Liberation and took possession of the NOVA Bomb. Meanwhile, Dorn’s forces continued unifying the Cyberpunk universe, and David Martinez, Rebecca, and Lucy arrived at Atlas’s Night City headquarters.

• Maggie Shaw subdued the Free Liberation rebels at the recruit training camp, while Mike and Leon treated the wounded.
• Melissa reported that Atlas had suppressed Free Liberation’s fleet and seized the NOVA Bomb, and Ada ordered Mike, Leon, and Maggie to help secure the Eridana System.

Atlas brought David, Rebecca, Lucy, and other youths to its headquarters, where it offered them places in a Trial Corps testing new products. In the Macarena Mountains, Atlas continued its assault on Militech’s forces as Dorn considered using cyberware to create mass-produced Bio-Organic Weapons.

• David, Lucy, Rebecca, and other youths arrived at Atlas’s headquarters, where Price offered them full employment contracts in the Biological Department’s Trial Corps.
• David prepared to sign immediately, while Rebecca, Lucy, and the other prisoners weighed the offer against remaining in custody until the war ended.
• Atlas forces used Vulture gunships, aircraft, mechs, Tyrants, and Cerberus to attack Militech positions in the Macarena Mountains.
• Dorn watched the battle from an Agile Shadow command craft and planned to seize Militech’s research base and factories while defeating its remaining main force.

ONI Director Margaret Parangosky briefed UNSC leaders on Atlas’s attacks, its apparent Super Soldiers, and its destruction of Free Liberation warships. As a lone attacker assaulted their base, Volkov ordered an evacuation while Margaret urged him to use a nuclear blast against the intruder.

• Margaret presented evidence that Atlas had attacked ONI facilities, abducted Dr. Catherine Elizabeth Halsey, and sought information about the Ecumene Empire ruins.
• Volkov and Margaret warned that Atlas’s Super Soldiers and advanced weapons could threaten the UNSC, but the Army general dismissed their concerns.
• Margaret showed footage of Atlas beams destroying Free Liberation warships and warned that Atlas might possess weapons from a world of magic.
• An alarm announced an attack on the base, and a major reported that a single enemy was fighting its way through the defenses.

Soldier Boy drew the UNSC leadership away from headquarters while Homelander intercepted their transport in orbit and forced it to a civilian space station. Atlas captured Volkov, Margaret, and the other officials, then escaped with them aboard a cargo vessel to the Eridana System.

• Soldier Boy broke through the UNSC infantry at headquarters, then fled toward central Sydney as the senior officials escaped toward orbit.
• Margaret realized Soldier Boy’s attack was a decoy, and Homelander arrived in orbit and destroyed the transport’s Pelican escort.
• Homelander threatened to destroy the Transport Craft unless its crew flew to Space Station 470,414,366, and Volkov ordered them to comply.
• The UNSC sent frigates and destroyers to the station but could not fire without killing the hostages, so the Transport Craft entered a cargo vessel’s hold.

Humans and Elites fought to conquer a Covenant star system while Corax covertly cleared the way for the assault on the ground. Sui Yang learned that Ada Wong’s team had captured most of the United Nations Space Command’s senior leadership and began considering their fate.

• A Sojourner-class Dreadnought destroyed Covenant warships in orbit as human and Elite forces gained the advantage in the star system.
• Human carrier squadrons and drones overwhelmed Covenant aircraft over the rainforest near the Prophets’ command center.
• Corax used his Raven as a scout, killed Gnoll scouts and a Brute patrol, then left the assault on the outpost and palace to the Young Astartes.

In New Mombasa, Chris Redfield continued an anti-corruption operation by staking out a police superintendent who knew Chief Kinsler’s routine.
