Real World, Station 13.
Eight o'clock in the evening, the premiere day of Stellaris: Glimmer.
'First!'
'While there are still few people, I'm claiming this whole sea of bullet comments!'
'Ooh, ooh, ooh, starting off with a royal bombshell!'
'Wait, wait, where's my husband Tiandao?'
'Hey, forget about whether he's coming back or not—show me your IP address! I strongly suspect you're from—'
Amid the demonically chaotic barrage of comments from Dimensional Audience fans,
the long-awaited Season 2 of Stellaris—Glimmer—
finally lifted its mysterious veil after a full 365 days.
Although, in the recent The Innate Strong Extra Chapter,
the Dimensional Audience had already learned that Tiandao would most likely return in Season 2.
But exactly when Tiandao would return, and in what circumstances,
the production team had yet to give any definite word, leaving the Dimensional Audience restless with anticipation.
At the same time, Ember Base had completely sunk beneath the sea in Season 1.
The thirty-six Starborn had turned into stars filling the sky, scattering across the New Federation.
This meant that Season 2, Glimmer, would not only unlock an entirely new map,
but also bring encounters with many characters appearing for the first time.
Yet more than any of that, what the Dimensional Audience truly looked forward to
was Tiandao and Caroline meeting again in the New Era.
After all, the 'fireworks' at the end of Season 1
had wrung tears from countless Dimensional Audience fans.
Though the ending had ultimately been a happy one,
Tiandao and Caroline's separation still left many unable to let go.
They wondered whether the Stellaris Production Team had a ghost on the payroll.
Otherwise, why split up this pair of childhood sweethearts for no reason at all?
Wouldn't it be better to keep them together and feed the audience some sweetness?
