The Minotaur Demon General seized control of an area by slaughtering Commander Fifth-Realm demons; the survivors submitted rather than share their fate 107. The White Ape similarly commanded the Lizard Demon and Bear Demon while preparing an assault on Qinhe Prefecture 173.

They are capable of planning ambushes, encirclements, diversions, and coordinated attacks rather than acting as mindless beasts. In Liuyang County, the Minotaur Demon General deployed densely layered lesser demons to prevent escape, then ordered a massacre when its targets could not be found 107 110. Demon factions also exploit rivalries among humans, as shown by the Catfish Demon's plan to let Human Race cultivators kill one another over Flowing Fire Mountain’s treasures before intervening 346.

The later reappearance of the Demon Race introduces organized demonic invaders from beyond the Canglan Domain. Legends state that the Human and Monster Races once united under True Immortals to drive this race out, but demons re-emerged through the Sky Connecting Canyon secret realm 479. Qinhe Prefecture and Luocheng Campaigns

The White Ape organizes an attack on Qinhe Prefecture, intending to personally restrain all Qi Transformation Realm experts while subordinate demons assault the city 173. After Lin Feng kills the White Ape, demon leaders seek revenge and agree to join the Blood Fiend Cult’s plan against Luocheng 195.

Demon King Conflicts

Lin Feng battles major demon leaders including King Purple Scorpion and Yellow Wind Monster. The pair use the Poisonous Whip, Plague God Banner, Rat Demon souls, and defensive Magic Treasures in an attempt to overwhelm him 265 270.

Sky Connecting Canyon and Demon Race Return

The Demon Race reappears within the Sky Connecting Canyon secret realm, prompting a three-way conflict with Human and Monster Race cultivators. After sustaining losses, the demons activate a secret technique and spatial portals to summon reinforcements from the Demon Realm 479 483.

The resulting demonic-energy pollution transforms the secret realm and signals the opening stages of a wider invasion of the Canglan Domain 484 488.

Canglan Domain Invasion

Demon Race forces spread demonic energy from the Ascending Immortal Gate, dispatch demonized beasts and increasingly powerful cultivators to test and weaken Human and Monster Race defenses 489 491. They launch full attacks on sects and cities, including Cloud Heaven Sect, using waves of low-level demons alongside Body Integration cultivators 501 502.

Their campaign is repeatedly disrupted by Lin Feng, the Fire Dragon, and the Human and Monster Race alliance. The deaths of multiple Mahayana demons force the invaders to become more cautious, though they continue escalating their forces under the Sun-Eater Demon Lord and Rakshasa Woman 497 503 548.

Defeat and Remnant Activity

After Lin Feng annihilates high-ranking Demon Race forces, remaining demons hide for years out of fear of Blood Moon Mountain and its cultivators 754. Some eventually regroup under a Tribulation Crossing Great Demon and march toward Blood Moon Mountain, treating the attack as a chance to restore their race’s standing 754.
