After hesitating for two seconds, Hawking finally revealed his purpose.
He felt that if he wanted to obtain it without resorting to force, he had to be more sincere. If he lied, Ancient One would see through it.
"Then do you know that once Dream Walking is performed, there is a high chance that the universe you dream walk into will be destroyed?"
Hearing that what Hawking wanted was actually the Dream Walking spell, Ancient One froze for a moment before her expression turned grave.
Using the Time Stone, she had foreseen many possible futures. In all of them, Hawking's target had been the Darkhold she had sealed away.
Yet among all those futures, none showed what Hawking had done with the Darkhold.
"I know, but you can rest assured, Ancient One. I don't need Dream Walking to go to other universes, nor will it cause the destruction of other universes.
"I only want to use its magical principles to do something very important to me."
Hawking nodded and explained.
He had not lied to Ancient One. He wanted to use Dream Walking to enter the worlds where the Protagonist Templates were located while loading them, not to travel to other universes or cause their destruction.
When he loaded a Protagonist Template, the system could cross different worlds and dimensions, connecting him to the world where the corresponding template was located.
During that one hour of connection, if there was a way, he could enter the corresponding world.
The reason he had entered the Naruto World before was that when he loaded the Naruto Template and the system broke through the dimensional barrier to establish the connection, the toads on the other side had summoned him over with the Reverse Summoning
