There were many Super Heroes at headquarters, but Hawking did not plan to bring all of them along.
Some lower-level Super Heroes could handle ordinary people, but taking them to fight Planet Devourer would be sending them to their deaths for nothing. They would be completely useless.
If he was bringing anyone, they had to be Super Heroes at least on Storm or Cyclops's level.
As for why he had specifically notified Professor X, it was because he believed that if Professor X's psychic control ability were pushed to its limit with Cerebro's amplification,

Earth was now at a critical moment of life and death. They could no longer be allowed to remain at the Mutant School, leisurely living out their retirement.
And if worse came to worst, there was still Phoenix Jean Grey.
The Phoenix Force was Multiverse Level power. If it erupted completely, perhaps its strength would not be inferior to Planet Devourer's.

But then again, perhaps his existence had created a butterfly effect, causing this great crisis to occur when it had not existed originally.
If it really had happened, could it be that Jean Grey had unleashed the Phoenix Force and resolved the crisis?
In the movie, only Professor X seemed to exist. None of the other mutants had appeared. Could they have been killed while trying to stop Planet Devourer?
"This is Antarctica?"
Hawking stepped through the portal and immediately
