Beyond that, he really did not know much.
"Most of my knowledge came from Planet Devourer, as well as what I learned over the years while constantly searching for suitable planets for him."
Thus, Silver Surfer began introducing Hawking to the general state of Universe 838.
After listening, Hawking summed it up: the universe was enormous, containing countless galaxies. The Celestials were also diligently creating new galaxies, new stars, and new planets, so the universe was continuously expanding.
Even Silver Surfer did not know exactly how many galaxies existed in the universe now.
He could only introduce the ones he knew to Hawking one by one.
Since there were too many galaxies, going through them all would be a waste of time. Hawking chose to learn about several galaxies relatively close to Earth that he might visit.
First was naturally the Milky Way Galaxy, where Earth was located. It contained roughly over twelve hundred fully developed life-bearing planets. Its largest power was the Nova Empire, whose capital was Xandar.
Next were the two galaxies near the Milky Way Galaxy: the Large Magellanic Cloud and the Shi'ar Galaxy.
