  • WangWang told Gamora that Hawking planned to marry his fiancée when he returned to Earth and that WangWang's appearance was modeled after her.
  • The group questioned WangWang about Hawking's daily training, and she revealed that he trained in a Gravity Chamber under four hundred times normal gravity.
  • WangWang projected footage of Hawking moving rapidly in the chamber, astonishing the group and warning them to honor their work for him.
  • Two days later, Hawking and the others arrived at Contraxia, a frozen Ravager black market, and landed in its only brightly lit city.

  • Peter and Ego pretended to be overjoyed at their reunion, then went with Hawking and the others to Ego's temple.

Ch. 376Hawking, the Unplanned Saint (Second Update)

Hawking helped Seiya find his sister Seika and restore her lost memories, but powerful Cosmos erupted at Sanctuary before they could celebrate for long. Seiya, Shun, and Hawking reached Aries Palace, where Hawking stopped Deathmask and Aphrodite from attacking them.

  • Seiya found Seika outside a village, and Hawking restored her memories of her younger brother with magic.
  • Seiya and Shun sensed powerful Cosmos from Sanctuary and hurried there with Hawking.
  • At Aries Palace, Seiya knocked Deathmask away while Mu explained that Deathmask and Aphrodite had returned as Hades's Specters.
  • Seiya and Shun insisted on fighting to protect Athena, and Deathmask and Aphrodite attacked them from behind.
  • Hawking blocked both Specters' punches, surprising them and disrupting their plan.

Ch. 377Absolute Defense Magic (Part 1)

Hawking protected Mu, Seiya, and Shun from Saga’s attack with his Absolute Defense, then used Amenominaka to take six resurrected Gold Saints into the Ancestor Space. Mu, Seiya, and Shun remained in Aries Palace, where Mu warned them that more enemies were nearby.

  • Shion, Saga, Camus, Shura, Aphrodite, and Deathmask revealed themselves as Specters and attacked the group.
  • Mu blocked Saga’s Illusion Demon Emperor Fist with Crystal Wall, but Hawking’s Absolute Defense stopped the attack after the wall shattered.

Ch. 378Revive, Gold Saints! (Second Update)

Tong Hu and the Bronze Saints arrived to defend Sanctuary as the Fire Clock was lit, while Hawking offered the resurrected Gold Saints a deal in Ancestor Space. The Saints doubted his claim that he could free and resurrect them, leaving the bargain unresolved.

  • Specters emerged at Sanctuary and threatened to take Athena's head, but Tong Hu arrived after lighting the Fire Clock.
  • Hyoga, Shiryu, and Ikki joined Seiya, who explained that his Cloth would not return for another twenty minutes.
  • Shion and five other Gold Saints found themselves in Ancestor Space and tried to return to Sanctuary.
  • Hawking told the Gold Saints he knew they had not betrayed Athena and that they intended to reveal how to unlock the Cloths.
  • Hawking offered to resurrect them and free them from Hades's control in exchange for learning each of their ultimate Moves.
  • Shion and the others questioned whether Hawking could truly resurrect them, since they believed only Hades had that power.

Ch. 379Hades Awakens (First Update)

Hawking revived Shion and five other Gold Saints, freeing them from Hades’ control and earning their promise to teach him their techniques. When they returned to the Sanctuary, Hades awakened early in Shun’s body and confronted them.

  • Shion and the other five agreed to teach Hawking their moves if he revived them, and Hawking used Rinne Rebirth to restore all six Gold Saints to life.
  • Hawking brought the revived Saints back to the Aries Palace, where Dohko, Mu, and the Bronze Five learned what had happened.
  • Hades awakened in Shun’s body, sent Ikki, Seiya, and the other Bronze Saints flying, and threatened the Saints who had defied him.
  • Dohko and Shion recognized Hades, while Hawking warned everyone that Shun was no longer in control and prepared to face the god.

Ch. 380Surrounding Hades (Second Update)

Hades awakened inside Shun and overwhelmed the Saints as they fought to stop him. Hawking used Saga’s brief mind-control to apply a sealing array, but Hades began breaking free.

  • The Gold Saints summoned their Cloths and attacked Hades, but he reflected their strikes and sent several of them flying.
  • Dohko regained his eighteen-year-old form and donned the Libra Gold Cloth, while Mu sent his Aries Cloth to Shion and Athena headed toward the Twelve Gold Palaces with Kanon.
  • Hades unleashed Death Space, but Shion and Dohko combined their attacks to break through it.
  • Saga struck Hades with Galaxian Explosion, briefly controlling him, but Hades quickly recovered and prepared to attack Saga.
  • Hawking clashed with Hades using a Super Kamehameha and asked Saga to strike again, giving him time to cast the God Sealing Array on Shun.
  • Hades broke free of Saga’s control and began destabilizing the God Sealing Array.

Ch. 381Evil Containment Wave vs. Hades' Soul (First Update)

As Athena’s Sanctuary Barrier weakened Hades’ hold over Shun, she used her divine blood to drive Hades’ soul from his body. Hades then tried to seize Athena, but Hawking trapped his soul with the Evil Containment Wave and pulled it toward his talisman-covered Vibranium Rice Cooker.

  • Athena raised her scepter and spread the Sanctuary Barrier across the Sanctuary, weakening Hades’ struggle inside Shun.
  • Hawking explained that Hades had to be forced out of Shun’s body to save him, while Ikki, Seiya, and the others gathered around Shun.
  • Athena cut her palm with the Victory Goddess Staff and pressed her divine blood to Shun’s forehead, reigniting his Cosmo and turning his hair green.
  • Hades’ soul broke free of Hawking’s God Extinguishing Formation and flew from Shun’s body, then swept toward Athena to take her to Elysium.
  • Hawking opened a talisman-covered Vibranium Rice Cooker and used the Evil Containment Wave to drag Hades’ soul toward it.

Ch. 382The Twin Gods Descend (Second Update)

Hawking nearly sealed Hades’s soul, but Hypnos and Thanatos descended in their true bodies and interrupted him. After the Gold Saints stopped Thanatos’s attack on the Sanctuary, the three gods withdrew to Elysium, with Hades promising to return and end the Holy War.

  • Hawking transformed into a Great Ape and used Infinite Tsukuyomi to overpower Hades’s resistance as the Evil Containment Wave pulled him toward the Rice Cooker.
  • Hypnos and Thanatos appeared above the Sanctuary and struck Hawking with mental attacks, forcing him to stop sealing Hades.
  • Thanatos launched Black Hole at the Sanctuary, but Shaka’s Tenma Kofuku and the combined attacks of Aiolia, Aldebaran, Milo, and Kanon neutralized it.
  • Hypnos persuaded Thanatos to retreat, and Hades ordered the twin gods to return to Elysium before the Saints could pursue them.
  • Hades vowed to descend again in his true body and bring the Holy War to an end, while Dohko stopped Seiya and the others from attacking the retreating gods.
