Chapter Summaries

Hawking defeated the Zero Squad and read their memories, gaining knowledge of Spirit King Power and the ability to create a new Spirit King. He met the Spirit King, who agreed to give him his power and revealed that he had accepted his betrayal to fulfill his mission; Hawking then began absorbing him.

• Hawking broke Eye Monk's seal and knocked out all five members of the Zero Squad with Tenma Kofuku.
• Hawking read the Zero Squad's memories, including Eye Monk's knowledge of Spirit King Power and Ōetsu Nimaiya's Zanpakuto-making techniques.
• Hawking entered the palace and found the Spirit King, who said he foresaw Hawking's arrival and was willing to give him his power.
• The Spirit King told Hawking that he had not resisted the Five Great Noble Ancestors because it was necessary and that he expected to be freed a million years later.

After more than two years in seclusion, Mr. Hawking woke and set off for Earth to meet his companions and prepare for his three-year appointment. Meanwhile, Yuji Itadori and Itachi encountered a group led by a stitched-forehead human and four Top-Tier Special Grade Cursed Spirits.

• Mr. Hawking learned that Star-Lord and the others had left during his seclusion, then asked WangWang to summon them to Earth.
• Mr. Hawking began the two-week journey to Earth and planned to refine his power framework and achieve the Super Saiyan 2 Transformation.

Yuji and Itachi faced Kenjaku, Mahito, and three Special Grade Cursed Spirits in a trap intended to kill Itachi and free Sukuna. Yuji was caught in the Smallpox Deity’s Domain while Itachi fought Mahito as he tried to get two civilians to safety.

• Itachi recognized the four Cursed Spirits and identified their leader as Suguru Geto, whom he knew from Tokyo Jujutsu High’s classified files.
• Kenjaku explained that he had lured Gojo away and set the trap to kill Itachi, then free Sukuna and recruit him.
• Itachi grabbed Yuji and tried to flee, but Yuji broke away to rescue Iguchi and Sasaki from a Cursed Spirit.
• Yuji killed the tentacled Cursed Spirit and threw Iguchi and Sasaki to Itachi before the Smallpox Deity trapped him inside her Domain.

Itachi fought Jogo and Hanami while Yuji defeated the Smallpox Deity, but Kenjaku used eleven of Sukuna’s fingers to bring Ryomen Sukuna back. Hawking suddenly returned, reclaimed control of the battle, and confronted Kenjaku after quickly defeating Dagon.

• Itachi sent a shadow clone to get Iguchi and Sasaki to safety, then used Susanoo and the Yata Mirror to block Jogo’s domain.
• Itachi lured Jogo within reach of the Totsuka Blade, but Hanami trapped Susanoo with trees and enclosed Itachi in a domain as Jogo joined the fight.
• Yuji defeated the Smallpox Deity, but Dagon trapped him in a domain while Kenjaku used gravity to pin him down and fed him Sukuna’s eleven fingers.
• Ryomen Sukuna took over Yuji’s body, then panicked when Hawking appeared and immediately lost control to Yuji.

• Kenjaku activated the Prison Realm against Hawking, but Hawking broke it apart, restrained Kenjaku, and learned his history and plans from his memories.

• Hawking used Dream Walking to reach the Demon Slayer World and found Kyojuro battling Akaza after the Mugen Train crash.
