It was already midnight, so here's a quick report on the results.
Exactly 24 hours after going premium, not a minute more or less, the first chapter had 598 subscriptions—just two short of 600.
But ridiculously, Chapter 3 had 636 subscriptions after it went premium, a full 38 more than the first chapter!
But initial subscriptions are measured by the first chapter, so even though Chapter 3 had already broken 600, the figure still only counted the first chapter's 598.
So my initial subscription count was 598.
I went premium with over 7,800 bookmarks. I had no idea what this initial subscription count meant, so I asked about it in the new author group today.
Then another author immediately posted a screenshot. It showed an editor using Tom Cat as an avatar.
He said, "You don't even meet the minimum requirement of averaging 500 subscriptions, so what book are you writing?"
Then I instantly understood. My average subscriptions were 566, just over 500, which meant I should have met the minimum subscription standard for premium books on Qidian.
So happy ^_^!
I'd like to thank all of you readers for supporting this book. I'll keep writing steadily.
I believe that as long as I keep to two updates a day and three on weekends, more and more readers will come along!
So, a little encouragement for myself—keep it up!
Thank you all, dear readers, for your love and support! Thank you!
