Background / History

Qin Yu lives in Soul Forging Village with Xiao Zun and their children, Xiao Yan and Xiao Ling. She recalls that Xiao Yan was unusually quiet from infancy: he rarely cried, avoided other children, and was exceptionally well-behaved as he grew older. His calm upbringing left her comparatively unprepared for Xiao Ling’s mischievous nature. 2

When Xiao Yan falls ill with a fever, Qin Yu tends to him through the evening. She repeatedly cools his forehead with a wet towel, tests the temperature of Xiao Zun’s medicine herself, and feeds it to him until his fever subsides. 2

Personality

Qin Yu is gentle, attentive, and openly affectionate toward both children. She quietly protects Xiao Yan’s rest while reassuring Xiao Ling and offering to prepare her favorite food. 2

She is also easily amused by Xiao Ling’s childish devotion to her brother, though she admits some helplessness in dealing with her daughter’s high energy and mischief. 2

Relationships
