Land of Iron.
Tsunade had already drunk herself into a daze.
Just then, the server brought over a bowl of sobering soup.
Feeling drowsy, Shizune asked hazily, "Did I order this?"
Only after the server's reminder did Shizune notice Shamu approaching.
He looked to be in his twenties, fairly handsome, and rather gentle.
Shamu said, "Let Lady Tsunade sober up first. I have something to discuss with her."
Shizune immediately perked up. They were short on money right now—had a commission come their way?
Shizune discreetly checked the sobering soup, found nothing wrong with it, and fed it to Tsunade.
The server brought out the side dishes. Shamu ate as he waited for Tsunade to sober up.
"Sir, may I ask what you wish to commission Lady Tsunade to do?"
Seeing that Shamu had no intention of speaking, Shizune asked.
Shamu ate as he replied, "You can't make the decision. We should wait until Tsunade wakes up."
The atmosphere fell cold just like that, but Shamu remained perfectly at ease.
After about fifteen minutes, whether because Tsunade's constitution was good or the sobering soup was effective, she gradually came around.
Though there was still some drunkenness on her face, she was awake.
"Who are you!?"
"Why are you eating at my table!?"
Tsunade had just woken up and had not figured out the situation. She slapped the table, sending the bowls and dishes flying.
Well, there went the food.
Shizune quietly explained the situation in Tsunade's ear.
Only then did Tsunade realize that the person opposite her was a client.
She quickly laughed awkwardly. "Ah, well, whatever illness you have, leave it all to me."
The people talking nearby suddenly fell silent and looked at Shamu with amused expressions.
So what exactly was wrong with this man?
Shamu's face darkened.
