After Karin pushed Nagato into another hidden room,
she held her arm out to his mouth.
In a crisp voice, she said, "Hurry and take a bite. Your injuries are serious."
Karin still did not know who he was, but when she saw Nagato's red hair, an endless surge of affection welled up inside her.
She knew that, like her, he was an Uzumaki clansman.
Though Nagato's eyes had been blinded, he could still see.
"This Chakra... you're an Uzumaki clansman too."
Konan said worriedly,
"Nagato, stop talking for now. Heal yourself first."
Karin answered,
"Mm, my mother was from the Uzumaki Clan."
Though blood flowed from Nagato's eyes, his mind remained calm.
Hearing Karin's words, a gentle expression appeared on his face.
"I'm from the Uzumaki Clan too. My name is Nagato, and she is Konan."
As he spoke, he pressed his palms together, and his body immediately began to recover.
Karin was immensely surprised by this sight.
His healing ability was no worse than hers.
Nagato let out a breath.
He had been careless and let the Rinnegan drain a great deal of his Chakra, leaving him in such a sorry state.
The bones broken by Shinra Tensei had already been set back into place.
Now that Nagato had recovered some Chakra,
his injuries naturally healed much faster.
"My injuries are fine. I can recover on my own."
Only then did Konan remember that Nagato seemed to have mentioned this before, though she had never known his recovery ability was so powerful.
As Konan breathed a sigh of relief, she thanked Karin.
"Thank you. Are you Orochimaru's disciple?"
Karin was only twelve years old at this time. Although she had suffered somewhat alongside her mother in her earlier years,
