Early that morning, Keimei came to report.
"Clan Head, Hyuga Yuto requests an audience."
Shamu yawned. He had only just gotten out of bed.
"So early? Let him in."
Shamu casually splashed some water on his face. While brushing his teeth, Hyuga Yuto arrived.
"Gargle... gargle... Hayato, you came so early..."
Hyuga Yuto looked somewhat exhausted, his eyes filled with bloodshot veins.
They stood out especially clearly against his Byakugan.
Hayato took out a map and handed it to Shamu. "Lord Shamu, we inspected the entire area overnight."
"These are all the explosion sites. None were missed."
Shamu pulled out his toothbrush. "Seriously, Hayato? You stayed up all night?"
Hayato forced a smile. "With such a major hidden danger in Konoha, how could I possibly sleep?"
Shamu wiped his hands and patted Hayato on the shoulder. "All right, you've worked hard. Go back and get some rest. I'll have Hizashi reward you later."
"You're too kind, Lord Shamu. It was simply my duty. I'll be leaving, then."
Shamu waved, and only then did Hayato leave.
Shamu picked up the booklet and looked it over. Dense red dots covered an entire area. If Konoha's economic center had not shifted by now, thirty years later...
The explosions from these Exploding Tags really could have caused plenty of casualties.
All he could say was that old man Gennō was incredible. He had actually planted so many Exploding Tags, and no one had discovered them even after all these years.
With this, he should be able to report back to Jiraiya.
