Not long after Obito left.

The Second Elder arrived with twenty guard puppets.

Most of the puppets had fallen dormant after the Tenseigan was shut down last time.

Now that enemies had suddenly appeared, the Second Elder was somewhat stretched thin.

After investigating, the Second Elder discovered that all the dormant puppets had vanished.

"How are they moving so fast?"

Obito and Black Zetsu traveled a long way, seeing nothing but forests.

The two simply burrowed underground and began moving swiftly.

After traveling a great distance, they finally found a town.

The buildings inside were intact, but there was not a single person in sight.

Judging by the corrosion on the items left behind, the place had been uninhabited for at least several hundred years.

The trees growing at the base of the walls had already become towering giants.

The two arrived at a patch of ruins filled with damaged statues of deities.

They had come to see whether there was anything else on the Moon worth looting or making use of.

So they searched the area carefully.

Before long, they came before a stone wall.

It was covered in writing that Obito could not understand.

"An ancient experiment, transcending the Human Path."

"Thus, the Tenseigan awakens."

"The Moon Fist shall bring about humanity's destruction."

Black Zetsu read the words and fell into thought.

He was Kaguya's child, but he only knew much about the Rinnegan.

What was written here clearly referred to the Hamura Clan, who wielded another kind of power known as the Tenseigan.

In an instant, Black Zetsu guessed that it was another manifestation of his mother's bloodline.

Could there still be powerful Tenseigan users on the Moon?

Black Zetsu did not know that the words he casually read aloud had aroused Obito's suspicions.
