The Cloud Village had held the line through the morning.

Everyone knew the Hidden Mist Village's offensive would be even fiercer in the afternoon.

So they remained highly vigilant.

Fortunately, Killer B had recovered somewhat.

He could barely fight in human form, but transforming into a tailed beast was out of the question.

His injuries had not fully healed, especially the toxins, which had yet to be purged.

"Hope they♬ don't overestimate themselves♪.♫ Those guys, idiot guys."

Killer B was still wrapped in bandages, with blood faintly seeping through them, yet that did not stop him from talking tough.

He stood outside the stronghold, looking toward the Hidden Mist Village.

Yugito's injuries were particularly strange. They simply would not heal, and she could not take the battlefield at all now.

Killer B could not fight for long either, or his wounds would split open again.

But he had no choice but to come. More importantly, he could not let the Hidden Mist Village learn of his condition.

He had to hold out until the Raikage arrived.

But Killer B's hopes were clearly shattered. The Hidden Mist Village sent even more people to probe their defenses that afternoon.

And several of those active on the battlefield were all familiar faces to Killer B.

Kisame, Zabuza, and Juzo.

The three acted as spearheads, swiftly sweeping through the Cloud Village personnel around the perimeter.

They were all extremely powerful and served as an excellent vanguard.

Kisame created another group of Water Clones.

They went straight in to trigger the Exploding Tag traps.

Thunderous explosions rang out all around the perimeter of the Cloud Village stronghold.

Using Water Clones in such numbers consumed a great deal of Chakra, but Kisame had Samehada to absorb it
