Obito opened his eyes, his blood-red Mangekyō Sharingan fixing on Shinno.

"You deserve to die!"

Obito stomped the ground and charged toward Shinno.

Shinno laughed and retreated. Countless tentacles extended from the Zero-Tails behind him.

Yet every one of them passed straight through Obito's body.

Shinno's smile did not fade. He formed hand seals, and the Zero-Tails erupted with more ghostly light.

Even more of Obito's emotions were awakened, setting his insides ablaze.

At the same time, all the emotions surfacing within Obito were captured by the Zero-Tails, which began to writhe even faster.

It seemed on the verge of breaking free from its cocoon.

Black energy rose from Shinno's body. With it, his figure became ghostlike.

In a flash, he leaped backward onto the Zero-Tails' cocoon.

Enduring the erosion of his emotions, Obito unleashed a Kamui Vortex at the Zero-Tails.

Shinno seemed utterly unconcerned, allowing Obito to bore a hole into the Zero-Tails.

Obito's furious strike blasted a circular hole half a meter wide straight through the Zero-Tails from front to back.

But the Zero-Tails only let out a shriek before its body rapidly closed back together.

Shinno said smugly:

"Give up.
