Yugito and Killer B recovered the unconscious Uchiha Yoya as Hidden Mist Village faced Cloud Village’s threat to the Rainbow Ore trade. Flying Waterfall warned the Mist shinobi that Cloud’s new Seven-Colored Ore vein could undermine their trade and lead to another invasion, then demanded that Mei Terumi come to him.

• Yugito scolded Killer B for teasing her about Uchiha Yoya and had him carry Yoya back to camp.
• Killer B and Gyūki discussed their previous fight and the danger posed by Flying Waterfall.

Orochimaru reunited with the will he had left inside Anko, stabilizing his soul and extending the life of his body. Shamu arranged for the rescued youth to receive treatment, obtained the Dead Demon Consuming Seal Release, and left with Orochimaru to retrieve the Mask Hall and discuss new plans.

• Kakuzu received fifty million from Uchiha Shamu through the bald man and agreed to pursue Hiruko's Chimera Technique without a fixed deadline.
• Disornas collapsed during an experiment as the Puppet Spores completed their invasion, and Obito arrived to question him.
• Disornas revealed that the Spear of Heaven drew energy from the earth veins and that its activation required an organ and seven Tuning Forks from Tonika Village.
