Although Crocus was nearly seventy years old, he was still bursting with energy, built like an ox, and frighteningly mobile.

After learning of the missing person Brook's whereabouts from Garen, old Crocus immediately put on a display of dragging a ship by hand:

The explosive contours of his massive, powerful muscles tightened as he casually carried a two-story-tall ship barehanded out of the warehouse behind Twin Cape Lighthouse, then casually tossed it into the sea.

The tremendous crash drowned out the restless surf along the shore, while towering white waves drenched rock walls over ten meters high.

"D-Didn't he say he was a doctor?"

Nami stared in a daze.

She had been terribly worried about Crocus wanting to make an enemy of a Shichibukai, but now her mind was filled with nothing but shock.

"Crocus really is a doctor."

Garen nodded and casually explained:

"But what doctor who can roam the Grand Line freely would lack the means to protect himself?"

Nami reluctantly accepted the idea of Crocus as a devilishly muscular doctor and silently reminded herself:

If she ever needed medical care on the Grand Line, she had to pay close attention to doctor-patient relations.

After setting the ship into the sea, Crocus waved farewell to Garen without any hesitation.

"Thank you for the information, young man!"

"Once I find Brook, I'll thank you in person when I get the chance!"

"It was nothing."

Garen waved it off and suggested:

"Are you leaving now?"

"We're heading to the Kingdom of Alabasta. If we're going the same way, we can travel together for a while."

"No need."

Crocus said with a smile:

"I want to get to the Sabaody Archipelago as soon as possible to find an old friend. The route through Alabasta isn't the shortest one."

"The Sabaody Archipelago?"
