Among the towering trees, two ferocious beasts were locked in combat.
Both stood twenty or thirty meters tall, with immensely powerful builds. A wave of their arms could whip up howling gales, and a stomp of their feet could make the earth tremble.
The species of these two beasts were even stranger.
One looked like a black-furred gorilla enlarged countless times over, except it had two additional thick, knotted arms growing from its back.
The other was even more bizarre. It looked like a giant fish on the outside, yet it had the four legs of a land reptile beneath it.
These clearly were not normal creatures.
Still, since crossing over, Garen had seen plenty of bizarre sea beasts of all kinds, so he was not particularly surprised by the two monsters before him.
But the shocking spectacle of their fight still made even Garen's heart tremble.
Every blow landed solidly, every bite drew blood. They fought until the sky darkened and flesh flew everywhere, completely locked in a fight to the death.
A moment later, the victor was decided.
The gorilla exerted force with all four arms at once and actually tore the giant fish apart with its bare hands, its blood dyeing half the forest red.
The scene was so bloody that it would never pass censorship outside of certain ridiculous war dramas.
After devouring the giant fish's flesh and evolving into a Kun Devouring Demon Ape, the gorilla wildly pounded its chest with all four arms and let out a deafening roar toward the sky.
