After completely taking over the Flying Pirates, Garen finally began dealing with his other captive.
He sat upon the throne that had once belonged to Golden Lion and summoned Hancock, still bound by Seastone Handcuffs, before him. From his lofty position, he scrutinized her slightly flustered expression.
In the vast room, only Garen and Hancock remained.
The air was so quiet that it seemed almost frozen.
Under Garen's gaze, Hancock had completely lost the composure and pride of the Pirate Empress. All that remained was panic.
After witnessing Golden Lion's miserable fate, Garen's image had become even more evil in her mind:
Ordinary Celestial Dragons enslaved the living, but this "Celestial Dragon," Garen, would not even spare the souls of the dead.
That was simply condemning them to eternal damnation.
Hancock suddenly grew deeply worried about her own predicament.
At that moment, Garen seemed to have had his fill of Hancock's embarrassed expression and abruptly rose from his seat.
Hancock immediately tensed up. Without realizing it, she clutched the suit jacket draped over her body more tightly, hoping to draw some scarce sense of security from it in Garen's presence.
But that rootless, floating sense of security quickly crumbled step by step as Garen approached.
"What do you want?"
Hancock retreated again and again, but weakened and powerless under the restraints of Sea Stone, she had nowhere to run.
Garen did not answer. He merely walked straight up to Hancock and examined her beautiful face.
Hancock had never feared the appreciative gazes of men before, but this time was different.
She was now the captive of Garen, a "Celestial Dragon." One step further, and she might fall back into the dark slave life of her childhood.
"Garen."
After hesitating for a moment, Hancock ultimately chose to make the first move.
