Garen and Kuzan leaped through the air, quickly crossing Marine Headquarters' harbor before vaulting over the massive Gates of Justice and coming to a stop hundreds of meters above the sea.
They were incredibly fast. Buggy desperately pushed his ability to its limits just to maintain a maximum distance of two hundred meters, keeping himself from falling out of the sky again.
"Wait for me!"
Buggy shouted desperately from behind, but his voice was quickly swallowed by the howling wind rushing past his ears as they sped through the air.
"Wait for me!"
"Leave my legs behind before you go!"
As he watched those two retreating figures he could never catch, Buggy grew increasingly desperate.
His strength was far behind Garen and Kuzan's, and he was about to lose the ability to maintain such explosive speed.
Just as Buggy was about to be flung more than two hundred meters away from his own feet and plunge headfirst into the sea to drown, Garen and Kuzan suddenly slowed their flight through the air. They even stopped in midair, as if waiting for someone.
Did they hear me calling?
Joy at surviving a desperate situation burst forth in Buggy's heart, and he immediately seized the opportunity to fly toward Garen.
But Garen and Kuzan had not stopped in the air to wait for him.
Buggy had not flown far when he saw a pale ghostly figure suddenly emerge from the vast sky, a ghost radiating fluorescent light.
The moment the ghost appeared, it flew straight toward Garen and Kuzan.
When Kuzan saw the ghost arrive, he immediately gathered cold air to condense a crystal of ice large enough for several people to stand on.
The ghost cooperatively reached out and touched the enormous ice block, which instantly broke free of gravity's restraints
