Bogein was somewhat baffled, but he still reached into his clothes and pulled out an exquisite little pistol.
Like every other country, the Goa Kingdom forbade anyone from carrying weapons into the royal palace.
And like every other country, such rules were nothing more than decoration to those with ulterior motives.
Looking at the miniature repeating pistol Bogein handed over, whose technological sophistication was clearly an entire era ahead of East Blue's overall level, Garen could not help sighing at this world's bizarrely twisted tech tree.
Without wasting much time, Garen quietly concealed the pistol, barely larger than half a palm, in his hand, then turned his gaze toward the target he intended to deal with: Sterry.

The lofty "Celestial Dragon" would not spare much thought for the death of a mere servant. Sterry could take that opportunity to replace the Michael Family's position under the "Celestial Dragon" and marry the princess in place of the dead Wallace.
With that thought in mind, Sterry
