The azure-silver knight walked over from the other end of the battlefield. He wore a hood and held an invisible holy sword. His mouth, hidden beneath the shadows, curled into a smile as he said:
"Sorry. Though granting Berserker release is my wish, a Master's command cannot be disobeyed. If you want to fight two against one, count me in!"
"Saber?"
Karna sized Arthur up, his gaze finally settling on the weapon shrouded by raging winds, impossible to see clearly.
"Who knows? Perhaps I might be Lancer," Arthur said with a shrug.
The tremendous commotion caused by the battle between Heracles, Karna, and Chiron naturally could not escape Arthur and Lorelei at the other end of the battlefield. Once Lorelei realized Heracles was trapped in a one-against-two predicament, she immediately sent Arthur to support him. After all, an ally this obedient could not be eliminated at the very start of the war.
"Lancer, leave this knight to me. As for my disciple, his teacher will handle him!" After a brief moment of thought, Chiron made his proposal.
"Please be careful."
Karna wasted no words and aimed the Golden Spear at Arthur.
Meanwhile, Chiron put away his longbow, clenched both fists, and assumed an ancient fighting stance before Heracles.
"Heracles, do you still remember the martial art I taught you? Pankration. Let me see whether you have neglected your training since graduating!"
"Roar roar roar!!!"
To everyone's surprise, the utterly irrational Heracles actually put down his weapon and charged Chiron barehanded. He twisted his waist, bent his arm, and clenched his fist, looking ready to pound Chiron into paste.
Unconcealed delight appeared on Chiron's face as he said in utter joy:
"I knew it. That so-called madness could not erase all of your will. I was right about you, my disciple!"
