Higashino Kanade curiously leaned closer, wanting to see how Nine-Tails would instill consciousness into the body of the pseudo-Nine-Tails, only to be smacked aside by Nine-Tails' tail.
"Get out. I'll call you when it's done."
With a sour expression, Nine-Tails unceremoniously kicked Higashino Kanade out.
"Tch—fine, keep your secrets. It's not like I care."
Fueled by alcohol, Higashino Kanade threw a childish tantrum. He vigorously ruffled Nine-Tails' fluffy tail a few times, then exited the Sealing Space and returned to reality just before the other could lose her temper.
Teasing her and running away really was satisfying... Higashino Kanade savored the feel of Nine-Tails' tail, nodded in satisfaction, then looked toward the people gathered in the courtyard.
"The Holy Grail is ready to use. According to the contract, Solomon, you go first!" Higashino Kanade clapped his hands.
An opening appeared in the Greater Grail. Sections of golden stairs descended, and beyond the doorway lay a vast world filled with flowers.
Higashino Kanade led Solomon inside. Beneath the blue sky, amid the sea of flowers, stood a silver-haired woman as beautiful as a doll. She was the incarnation of the Greater Grail's consciousness, Justiça Lizrich von Einzbern.
"Yo, we meet again."
Higashino Kanade greeted her as though she were an old acquaintance.
Justiça nodded expressionlessly and softly asked, "Are you once again the victor of this Holy Grail War?"
"More or less. I have a few wishes to ask of you."
Higashino Kanade pointed at Solomon. "Let him go first."
Justiça looked at Solomon and asked in an emotionless voice:
"Servant, what is your wish?"
"My wish..." Solomon paused, hesitated for several seconds, then spoke firmly. "I don't know whether this wish is right or wrong. God never gave me an answer, but in my heart, I already believe this wish
