Mordred's eyes lit up with surprise. Morgan le Fay turned around angrily, only to see Higashino Kanade's calm face.
"Sorry, Lady Morgan. Please calm down."
Higashino Kanade released her hand and gave her a bow.
"What are you doing here?"
Morgan le Fay glared at Higashino Kanade, her tone blazing with anger.
"I was worried about Artoria, so I came to see her." Higashino Kanade answered, then looked at Mordred. "Little Mo, can I go in?"
"Emm... it is an order, but since it's Master, then Master can go in. I think Father King wants to see Master too."
Mordred's face reddened slightly as she stepped aside for Higashino Kanade.
"!!?"
Morgan le Fay looked utterly stunned. Hadn't Mordred said no one was allowed in? Why could Higashino Kanade enter? Wasn't that blatant double standards?
"Mordred, I'm your mother. Why won't you let me in, but you'll let him in?"
Morgan le Fay pointed at Higashino Kanade and asked through gritted teeth.
Mordred looked at her with utter disdain, as if saying, How could you possibly compare to Master?
"Master, hurry inside. I'll stop this vicious woman from disturbing you."
Mordred stood between Higashino Kanade and Morgan le Fay, signaling for him to go in quickly.
Morgan le Fay stomped her feet in fury. Pointing at Higashino Kanade's nose, she began cursing him loudly.
"You stinking man! I entrusted Al to you. If anything happens to her, or if you make her sad, I'll never forgive you! In the name of the Lady of the Lake, I'll make you spend the rest of your life in agony!"
"Shut up! You're not allowed to talk about Master like that!"
Mordred angrily grabbed Morgan le Fay by the arm and glared at her like an enraged lion.
