As a Caster, Cú Chulainn's sensitivity to Mana had greatly improved. He could detect even the slightest fluctuations, as if he possessed a sensory Mystic Eye.

Cú Chulainn excitedly followed the source of the Mana fluctuations. After lifting a manhole cover, he entered the dark, damp sewers.
Cú Chulainn extended the Druid Staff before him and cast a Light Spell. The tip of the Druid Staff lit up like a lightbulb, illuminating the path ahead.

At a glance, he could tell that Lancelot was suffering from severe Mana depletion and serious injuries. He had reached the point where he could not even materialize a physical body, leaving him utterly incapable of resistance.
As for his Master, Matou Kariya, he only had half a life left. If left alone, within a day, Matou Kariya would be devoured completely by the insects inside his body. At that point, the Berserker team would naturally be defeated.
