Chapter Eighty-One: End of All Spells! Would You Like to Be My Loyal Friends?
Snape exploded when he realized he had just been played.
Three spells arrived in front of Wayne almost simultaneously. A silent spell, multi-casting, and a faster-than-usual flight speed. These techniques alone were enough to prove Snape's strength. Under Dynamic Perception, Wayne deftly flicked his wand, knocking all three spells away in succession. They slammed into the office floor, blasting several sizable holes into it.
"Tsk, that's quite some power, Professor. I'm still a child, you know!"
While taunting him, Wayne's wand shot out two spells as well. He stood tall, fully entering combat mode and radiating tremendous pressure.
He sensed the power contained within the spells.
Snape's expression shifted slightly. He channeled his magic and swept his robes through the air, only managing to block the two spells with a Shield Charm.
"Only Dumbledore would see you as a child!"
"In my eyes, you're a monster!"
Snape reached out, and a wardrobe flew over from the distance, crashing toward Wayne with a roar. Wayne clenched his fist. The wardrobe flying at high speed instantly shattered, and the broken pieces slammed into their Shield Charms before falling feebly to the floor.
"Expelliarmus!"
Two red beams collided in midair, erupting with a crackling boom. Sparks flashed constantly as the situation entered a stalemate.
Or, as it was commonly called, a beam struggle.
Where did this kid get so much magic from?
Snape was astonished. He had to devote his entire concentration just to keep his magic on top.
"Professor, show me more of your power!"
Wayne stepped forward. The balance of victory began tilting toward him, and the point where their magic met kept moving toward Snape.
