At 7:27, Carl stood at the entrance of Arasaka Academy.
There were still three minutes before class began, more than enough time.
After being scanned at the entrance and having her identity confirmed, Carl headed into the academy.
The Arasaka Academy uniform was clearly a suit, yet it was remarkably convenient and comfortable to walk in, without any sense of restriction. She did not know whether it had been specially designed that way.
It took her two minutes to reach her classroom. When Carl entered, she found that aside from herself, there were a dozen or so others inside. They looked roughly her age, but judging by how unaccustomed they seemed to be to what they were wearing and their slightly restrained movements, they were probably, like Carl, trial students who had come to Arasaka Academy for an experience program.

So the reason for lying down was to make it easier and more comfortable to connect to the system?
Thinking of what it was like to enter a braindance system, Carl had to admit that lying flat did make it easier and prevented side effects such as headaches.
Her seat was—
Fourth row, fourth column.
Not bad.
While the other early students were still cautiously examining the platform devices, Carl had already lain down
