People all over the world were watching this scene through Magic Mirrors. There were wizards, but also Muggles.
Back during the Top 100 Tournament, many of the Muggles' top organizations had gotten their hands on Magic Mirrors, which they saw as devices for "real-time video transmission."
At that moment, politicians and scientists had gathered in a vast conference room somewhere on Earth. They were using electronic equipment to project the images from a Magic Mirror onto an enormous screen.
Compared with the politicians, the scientists were practically going mad.
"Anton's beard, this is incredible!" An old man with a white beard was so excited that his nose had turned bright red. He pointed forcefully at the image on the screen. "Are you sure this isn't a hoax? Humans can walk directly on the surface of the Moon? I don't even see any weightlessness from the Moon's low gravity!"
Oh, as a quick aside, the exclamation "Anton's beard" came from Prime Minister Jim Hack, who had been deeply involved in Wizarding World events. After hearing Minister Fudge say "Praise Anthony Weasley," he started using this one-of-a-kind exclamation, reminding everyone of the prime minister's legendary experience of entering the Magical World.
